All orders are subject to Cape Cod Wind & Weathers review and approval. We reserve the right to reject and not fulfill an order, or to withhold acceptance of an order until we take such steps as necessary within our sole discretion to validate the billing, shipping and credit card information of the person or company placing the order.
Most product orders typically will ship within 1 to 2 days. Some of our products are largely hand made and assembled and require extra time. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. If you place your order after 5:00PM ET on Friday, your order will not be processed until Monday. We also reserve the right to implement temporary factory shutdowns, which may occur intermittently throughout the year. If and when the factory is closed, the customer or dealer will be notified of any changes in expected product shipment dates.
Payment
All prices and amounts shown on this Site are in U.S. Dollars (USD), unless otherwise noted. If a User submits an order, the User agrees that all charges, taxes and shipping/handling fees will automatically be charged to the User's credit card. All purchases made online must be paid for by credit card. Cape Cod Wind & Weather accepts all major credit cards: VISA, MC, AMEX, DISC.
Order Cancellations
Because all of our online orders are shipped out as fast as possible (most orders are shipped out the same day the order is placed) it is NOT possible to cancel an order once you complete the ‘Check Out’ page. If after completing the order, you wish to cancel the sale, you must now follow our company Return Policy for a refund on the product (not including the shipping charges from the sale)
Returns
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your new Cape Cod Wind & Weather or Downeaster Wind & Weather instrument, ship it back to us for exchange or full product refund.
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and a copy of the original receipt. Make sure your return is double boxed so there is no chance of damage during the return shipping process.
Orders that are accepted for return will have the total merchandise amounts credited back to the same credit card that was used during the original check out process. Any and all shipping and handling charges will NOT be credited, just the amount of merchandise.
Return Exceptions: Instruments that have been completely installed and used will NOT be accepted for return or refund unless there is found to be a manufacturing defect.
Instruments or parts that have been clearly damaged (dropped, stress cracks from improper handling, etc.) will NOT be accepted for return and will be returned to you in the same condition.
Sales Tax
Cape Cod Wind & Weather is required to collect sales tax on purchases shipped to Massachusetts. For orders shipped to Massachusetts, tax is calculated based on the total order value and 6.25%. Customers who order online and have the orders shipped to Massachusetts will accept the extra sales tax charge that will be added to the credit card.
Shipping
Most orders ship by USPS Priority Mail. If you wish a different shipping method, call us directly. We offer UPS Ground, 3 Day Air, 2 Day Air, and Next Day Air, as well as FedEx shipping. Cape Cod Wind & Weather will do our best to meet all your shipping requests and delivery dates.
Note, International/Canadian orders and shipping are handled on an individual basis. Please contact customer service for more information and shipping options.
Privacy Statements
Cape Cod Wind & Weather will NOT sell or provide our customers name, address, phone or email to any other company or person. All data collected on our website during the ‘Check Out’ process will be only used for our purposes. Credit card numbers and payment details will NOT be stored online or anywhere else.
